Nintendo

Here is where it all started. The NES or Nintendo Entertainment System was the beginning of the console gaming revolution. It seems like yesterday when I opened my birthday gift 20+ years ago and saw the NES. It came with the best selling game ever, Super Mario Brothers. It was the first game to feature smooth scrolling levels and revolutionized the way games were created. It was so popular that it has been ported to almost all of the Nintendo gaming consoles. I remember spending countless hours playing this game until I finally completed it. Other games that I remember playing on this console and have carried on through future generations of Nintendo gaming consoles were Contra, The Legend of Zelda, Excitebike, Castlevania, Duckhunt, Metroid, and Mike Tyson Punchout. What a fun time.

Throughout the next 20 years I owned and played on many of the Nintendo gaming platforms, including the original Gameboy, Super NES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, and DS. But none really compared to the original NES. That is until now.
